The ADMIN SUPPORT SECTION manages:

• – Committee Services of all Committees of Council
• – Property Management by processing land applications
• – Archives and record keeping of all Council records

• – Committee Services: Agendas and Minutes of meeting will be available on Council’s website.
• – Property management applications could be submitted by writing.
• – Archives and any record could be requested to the information officer of council.

• – Committee Services: Agendas on the day of the meeting and minutes 7 days after the meeting.
• – Property Management 24 hours in writing
• – Archives and record by applying to the Information officer in writing

Committees:

• Are meetings of Council open to the public?

• Mostly in the council chambers in Audrey Blignault Street in Bredasdorp.

• How can I get a point on the agenda of a council meeting?
• Put a letter in writing to the Municipal Manager.

• On council’s website.

Property management:

• How can I apply of land? 
• In Writing, with a full motivation and the purpose of use.

• Where can I apply? 
• Drop the letter of application at any office of the Municipality, or at Audrey Blignault Street, Bredasdorp.

• How long can I rent ground from Council? 
• The maximum is 9 years and 11 months
• 
  
• Do the application have to go to Council? 
• YES, it when throw an internal process, to the ward committees, a public participation process, standing committees of council and then to council.
• 
  
• How long does an application take? 
• Not shorter that 3-4 months.

Archives and Record keeping:

• May I apply for information out of the Archives? 
• YES, if you have a direct interest in the information of the document.

• Complete a application form from the Information Officer.
• The form is available from here for download.  Request for Access Form.
