Application forms are obtainable from the office of the Supply Chain Management Unit, Cape Agulhas Municipality, 1 Dirkie Uys Street, Bredasdorp.
Service/product providers must submit their application on the prescribed forms with the following documentation attached:
Proof of company / close corporation registration
Certified ID copies of all members/directors of company or sole proprietor
Tax Compliance status pin
Proof of VAT registration, where applicable
Proof of registration at the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), where applicable
Accreditation certificate if selling IT equipment
Bank details (together with an original cancelled cheque/ bank stamp or original letter from financial institution)
An original and valid B-BBEE status level verification certificate or a certified copy
All current accredited suppliers are required to ensure that they update their details and submit a Tax Compliance status pin. In order to maintain your verified status on the Cape Agulhas Municipality Supplier Database, thereby ensuring your eligibility to conduct business with this Municipality. Accredited Suppliers are responsible to inform this department of any change in your company’s information, including bank details, address, declarations of interest, etc.
INVITATION TO ALL PROSPECTIVE PROVIDERS OF GOODS AND SERVICES TO REGISTER AS SUPPLIERS ON THE CENTRALISED SUPPLIERS DATABASE
You are herewith invited to register on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database. The Central Supplier Database (CSD) is a single database that serves as the source of all supplier information for all spheres of government. The purpose of centralising government’s supplier database is to reduce duplication of effort and cost for suppliers and government while enabling electronic procurement process.
It is important that existing and new suppliers register their business online before 30 June 2016. From 1 July 2016, only suppliers registered on the Central Supplier Database and compliant will continue to do business with government and local government including Cape Agulhas Municipality. Compliant suppliers can access business opportunities and free tender documents through www.etenders.gov.za.
Cape Agulhas Municipality hereby urge suppliers registered or are interested in registering on the Cape Agulhas Municipality’s supplier database to go register on the CSD and therefore provide their CSD supplier number and unique code to Cape Agulhas Municipality’s (Ms. Geraldine Koopman or Mr. Ricardo Mitchell via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com). Both can be contacted on 028 425 5559 or 028 425 5551 respectively.
Cape Agulhas Municipality’s suppliers who are already registered on CSD are also urged to provide their CSD supplier number and unique code via email.

2. Cell Phone Number
3. Identity Number
4. Company Registration Number, and
5. Tax Reference Number
