DRAFT INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT BY-LAW, 2026 IS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 160(4)(b) of the Constitution read together with Section 12(3)(b) of the Local Government: Municipal System Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000) that the draft Cape Agulhas Municipality Integrated Waste Management By-Law, 2026 is available for public comment.

The draft by law aims to regulate the provision of solid waste services in the jurisdictional area of the Cape Agulhas Municipality and to provide for matters connected therewith.

The draft by-law is available on the Municipal Website https://capeagulhas.gov.za/documents/by-laws/draft/

Representations and comments on the draft by-law must be lodged in writing with the undersigned at the address stated on this advertisement by no later than Tuesday, 15 September 2026.

KONSEP GEÏNTEGREERDE AFVALBESTUURSVERORDENING, 2026 IS BESKIKBAAR VIR OPENBARE KOMMENTAAR

KENNISGEWING geskied hiermee kragtens die bepalings van Artikel 160(4)(b) van die Grondwet saamgelees met Artikel 12(3)(b) van die Munisipale Stelselswet (Wet 32 van 2000) dat die Konsep Geïntegreerde Afvalbestuursverordening van die Kaap Agulhas Munisipaliteit, 2026 vir openbare kommentaar beskikbaar is

Die konsepverordening het ten doel om die lewering van vasteafvaldienste binne die regsgebied van die Kaap Agulhas Munisipaliteit te reguleer en om voorsiening te maak vir aangeleenthede wat daarmee verband hou.

Die konsep verordening is beskikbaar op die Munisipaliteit se webwerf https://capeagulhas.gov.za/documents/by-laws/draft/

Besware en kommentaar op die konsep verordening moet skriftelik by die ondergetekende ingedien word by die adres soos gemeld op die advertensie teen nie later as Dinsdag, 15 September 2026.
