Notification of Public Participation Process

PROPOSED FORMAL LISTING OF IDENTIFIED SIGNIFICANT HERITAGE RESOURCES LOCATED IN NAPIER, WITHIN THE CAPE AGULHAS MUNICIPALITY, ON THE HERITAGE REGISTER IN TERMS OF SECTION 30 OF THE NATIONAL HERITAGE RESOURCES ACT, 25 OF 1999.

Heritage Western Cape (HWC) is considering the implementation of measures in terms of Section 30(1) of the National Heritage Resources Act, 25 of 1999 (NHRA), within the area of Napier, Cape Agulhas Municipality.

In terms of Section 30(6) of the NHRA, this includes the listing of certain identified heritage resources within the Napier area on the Heritage Register by notice in the Provincial Gazette.

The following erven within Napier were identified to be listed on the Heritage Register:
