DRAFT BUDGET (2026/27, 2027/28 AND 2028/29) AND DRAFT INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN (IDP) REVIEW (2026/27)

NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 22 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003), read together with Section 34 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000), that the following draft documents were tabled to the Municipal Council by the Executive Mayor on 31 March 2026:

  1. Draft Budget for the period 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29, which includes the Draft Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) (2026/27).
  2. Draft Integrated Development Plan (IDP) Review (2026/27).

The documents are available for public scrutiny on the Municipal Website under the following links:

The documents will also be available at all Municipal Offices, Libraries, and the L’Agulhas and Arniston Caravan Parks from 6 April 2026.

Members of the community, organisations and other stakeholders are invited to attend the IDP/Budget Imbizo meetings to provide comments on the Draft Budget and IDP Review. The meetings are scheduled as follows:
