LEVEL 2 WATER RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT

1. That water restrictions (Level 2) be imposed from 15 December 2025 until 15 March 2026, as follows:

1.1 Households that use municipal water to water gardens, may only irrigate for two days per week for two hours on the allocated days between 06h00 – 08h00 or between 18:00 – 20:00. Only one irrigation per allocated day is allowed.

1.2 The following arrangement to ensure sufficient pressure for watering:

– Even-numbered street addresses: Mondays and Thursdays 06h00 – 08h00 or between 18:00 – 20:00. Only one irrigation per allocated day is allowed.

– Odd-numbered street addresses: Tuesdays and Fridays 06h00 – 08h00 or between 18:00 – 20:00. Only one irrigation per allocated day is allowed.

2. Only the topping up of private pools and garden ponds is permitted.

3. Washing of cars, motorbikes, boats, etc. must be done by hand, using a bucket

4. No car driveways, other paved areas or sidewalks may be hosed or washed down.

5. Irrigation of Municipal parks may only take place on a Monday & Friday from 9h00 to 12h00

6. Irrigation of bowling greens may only take place on a Thursday & Sunday from 12h00 to 14h00

7. Irrigation of sports fields may only take place on a Wednesday from 14h00 to 16h00.

8. Irrigation of golf greens may only take place on a Tuesday & Friday from 20h00 to 22h00

9. That any person who violates the water restrictions be fined R1000.00 per offence.

10. That the public be informed via social media posts, CAM’s website, local radio broadcasts and public announcements (Law Enforcement).
