Applications are invited for financial assistance for 2025 tertiary education
Applications to receive financial assistance in terms of the Cape Agulhas Bursary policy are invited from prospective students. The following documents must accompany your application:
1.
A letter of motivation from the applicant;
2.
Certified copy of identity document;
3.
Original registration certificate indicating the course and subjects to be followed;
4.
Acceptance letter from the Institution
5.
Proof of residence in the Cape Agulhas municipal area. – (municipal account or any other relevant document)
6.
Certified proof of grade 12 results or certified copies of latest progress reports
- Combined proof of parents / guardian’s income with a ceiling of R 20 000.00 per month.
Sealed applications marked “Bursary application” must be handed in at the Municipal Offices, 02 Van Riebeek Street, Bredasdorp, not later than 12:00 on Friday, 17 January 2025.
Students residing in the Cape Agulhas Municipal area can apply for financial support in the following fields of study:

- Electromechanical Engineering Services
- Information and Communication Technology
- Community Development
- Environmental Management

- Public Administration
- Arts and Culture

- Architecture
All applications will be subjected to the approval of a bursary committee and shall be dealt with in terms of the approved bursary policy. A copy of this policy is available on the municipal website, all libraries and municipal offices in the Cape Agulhas area. Students that already received assistance may re-apply. No late or incomplete applications will be considered.

Aansoek vir finansiële bystand vir 2025 na-skoolse opleiding
Aansoeke word hiermee ingewag van voornemende studente om finansiële hulp in terme van die Kaap Agulhas Beursbeleid te ontvang. Die volgende dokumente moet die aansoek vergesel:
1. ‘n Brief ter motivering van u aansoek;
2. Gesertifiseerde afskrif van die identiteitsdokument van die aansoeker;
3. ‘n Gesertifiseerde afskrif van die registrasie-sertifikaat uitgereik deur die Instansie wat die kursus en vakke aandui;
4. ‘n Toelatingsbrief van die opvoedkundige instansie;
5. Bewys van woonadres in Kaap Agulhas gebied;
6. ‘n Bewys van die graad 12 uitslae of die nuutste beskikbare uitslae;
7. Bewys van ouer(s)/voog(de) se gesamentlike inkomste van minder as R20 000,00 per maand.
Verseëlde aansoeke, gemerk “Beurs aansoek” moet ingehandig word by die Munisipale Kantore te Van Riebeekstraat 02, Bredasdorp nie later as 12:00 op Vrydag, 17 Januarie 2025.

Alle aansoeke is onderhewig aan die goedkeuring van ‘n beurskomitee wie ingevolge die aanvaarde beleid hiermee sal handel. ‘n Afskrif van die beursbeleid is beskikbaar op die munisipale webtuiste, alle biblioteke en Munisipale kantore in die Kaap Agulhas gebied. Studente wat reeds ondersteuning ontvang het, mag weer aansoek doen. Geen laat of onvolledige aansoeke sal oorweeg word nie.
